One almost summery Saturday afternoon, with all other means of entertainment exhausted, a mother and son duo sit on the patio thinking- what can we do to make our days more interesting – we cannot go out meet our friends and we certainly don’t want to go to a park masked up. How differently are we living our lives- this past year. One thing led to another and we decided that maybe we can do something that will help us connect- not just with our neighborhood and school friends but with kids all around the globe! And with this thought, we decided to build a platform that would let us communicate and collaborate.
This is how a monthly children’s magazine – The Everything Times was born.
After days of hard work our 2-page newspaper has transformed into a 16-page children’s magazine: conceptualized by a 7-year-old from Quebec, Canada.
We have tied up with Millennium India Education Foundation to help distribute this magazine digitally and in print across the globe. We are targeting the publication in English right now but would slowly get it translated into different languages.
The idea is to have a magazine for kids with content built by kids- hence we will be requesting children from across the globe to share their articles, pictures, artwork, etc., for our publishing cycles. Currently, we are actively working on connecting with schools from India, the United States & Canada. With our June edition ready, we are happy to share it with you for your feedback. This magazine will be published monthly.
