This week our Monday inspiration comes through the amazing story of a 14-year old girl who invented a machine that does a little more than just washing.
Remya Jose, hailing from Malappuram, Kerala, invented a washing-cum-exercise machine at the mere age of 14. She also won a national award for it.
They say “Necessity is the mother of invention”. This is literally the case with Jose. When she was in 10th standard, her mother fell sick and her father was already undergoing medical treatment. Due to the lack of a washing machine at home, Jose and her twin sister had to do all the laundry. That is when she came up with the idea of making a machine herself.
