It’s common in the western world for children to often take a year off after school (high school) and travel, or do voluntary work in another country and basically get new experiences. While it may seem like a rich person’s luxury, as a matter of fact, many of these kids, work (say in restaurants, events or other places) to earn their spot and be able to travel. The kids who do this have a very different outlook in their lives, and basically very nuanced sense of culture and cross-cultural communication- alongside an obvious penchant for adventure! This is why we thought it’s worthwhile to bring out our key ideas into why you should encourage your kids to travel.
