On the occasion of World Earth Day 2014, Millennium India Education Foundation is organizing inter-school competition at 2 venues in NCR on 22nd April.
The venues are Vishwa Bharti, Noida and Mount Abu, Delhi. Around 50 schools will be participating in the competition. The event is supported by Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.
We discussed last week how these environment-related days are significant in preserving our nature. On Earth Day, events are held worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It is celebrated in more than 192 countries every year. Numerous communities celebrate Earth Week (19/04-25/04), an entire week of activities focused on environmental issues.
