Millennium India Education Foundation jointly with Ministry of Earth Sciences , Vishwa Bharati Public school, Noida and Mount Abu School, Rohini, New Delhi celebrated the World Earth Day, 2015 by organizing various inter-school competitions at both venues.
About 400 students representing 36 schools took part in these competitions at both the venues . The inter school competitions included painting, craft designing, essay writing , debates, and a bicycle rally . All the competitions were organized under the theme of “Clean Earth, Green Earth”. The winners of different competitions were given cash prizes and mementos.
The event was supported by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.
